A Sefer Torah Dedication was held last night at the Chabad House of George Town, directed by Rabbi Avrohom Holzberg. The Sefer Torah was donated by Mrs. Miriam, daughter of Robert and Madlen Berkowitz. The procession started out with singing and dancing from the home of the Sharabis to the Chabad House while the police blocked traffic of the nearby road. A festive meal was held after the parade and was attended by Rabbi Dovid Raskin one of the heads of Tomchei Temimim in 770, Rabbi Yermiah Levi, the Rabbi of the shul and former Shas KM, Rabbi Aryeh Gamliel, a friend of the family who had arrived especially from Israel for the event. The celebration closed with a Chanukah menorah lighting in the yard of the shul.
